Phase Identification on Grounded Cables

Safety first! Phase identification becomes an important issue when splicing a cable, repairing after a dig-in, connecting a new service or transformer, and a wide variety of other applications. Common methods require the ground to be taken off the cable under test to identify A-, B-, and C-Phase. Now the PIL 8 provides the solution to positively and safely identify all three phases while they stay grounded! Additional clamp-on identifiers are available, allowing one person to phase two or three 3-phase cables in a single operation.
